Winner of an award for Builder’s Model at the American Residential Design Awards, this Mediterranean-style home boasts splendid amenities. It starts with a magnificent stucco exterior, Spanish-tile roof, palm-tree landscaping and Old World details such as arches and accent niches, which frame the spectacular entry. Double French doors lead to the tiled foyer, which is brightened with natural light brought in by the fanlight above, as well as the warm glow of a centered chandelier. To the right of the foyer, the formal dining room overlooks the front property through a wide curved wall of glass. An archway supported by decorative columns separates the dining room from the living room, which boasts a fireplace and a tray ceiling with recessed lighting. The pocket sliding glass doors open to the covered back patio, pool and spa. Six transom windows line the top of the doors, providing elegant definition to the room. A convenient butler's pantry serves the gourmet kitchen, introduced by decorative square pillars. This well-planned room includes a corner walk-in pantry, wrapping counters, an island counter with a food-prep sink, double ovens and a six-range stove. The adjoining breakfast room provides hutch space and enjoys wide views through a curved-glass window that overlooks the pool area. The focal point of the family room is a massive fireplace, flanked by niches and built-in cabinetry. A vaulted ceiling adds a sense of spaciousness to the room, while pocket sliding glass doors extend the living space to a wide patio with a summer kitchen. Ideal for outdoor entertaining, this area features a sink, stove and snack-bar counter. The lanai wraps around a lovely pool and spa area, creating a lavish outside retreat. The master suite and study occupy the opposite wing of the plan. Double French doors lead to a private vestibule with an art niche. Nearby, a thoughtfully placed powder room is convenient for guests as well as swimmers, who can access this half bath from the lanai. The master bedroom opens through an archway and features a wall of glass around an ideal space that serves as a sitting area. Nearby, double doors lead out to the patio and pool. Two walk-in closets flank the entrance to the master bath. A soaking tub features views of a side garden, while the step-up shower boasts glazed glass-block windows. French doors open from the foyer to the quiet study, which is highlighted by a tray ceiling and defined by built-in bookshelves and richly detailed cabinetry. This room is brightened by a bay window, which overlooks the front property. The master bath provides a separate door to the study, which is a great place for the fortunate homeowner to find repose or enjoy a good read. Each of two secondary bedrooms has a walk-in closet and full bath with shower. A gallery hall connects the guest or family sleeping quarters with a utility area.
