Plan Description

This award-winning home by Visbeen Architects evokes tradition and comfort. The main level offers gathering places in adjacent living and dining rooms, as well as in the study and sunroom. The large kitchen features a window booth and room for stools at the island. Between the kitchen and three-car garage are the butler’s pantry, home management center, and laundry room. The master suite occupies the opposite end of the home and is complete with an impressive entry, two walk-in closets, and a large shower and tub. The lower level adds three bedroom suites, one with room for double bunk beds (great for young visitors). Completing the downstairs living space are the family room, wet bar, extra storage, and walkout access to the backyard patio. This design took home the top awards for Conceptual Design and House Plan Marketing in its size category at the 2014 American Residential Design Awards.
